New Styles

Made three new bags ,When I made the leopard print I thought of my niece Jessica she loves leopard prints, I made a mongram bag and a baby blue print that I just love ..The print is so cool, I'm planning on making another bag in solid black and adding that baby blue print  inside of the bag. I think it's going to look great ..here are the three new bags ..the monogram is sold.

Stenciling!! Oh what fun

Started Using Stencils, It's hard and messy work, but I love the results ..Here are some things I created this week.

I added my Initial to one of my shirts, to my bag and then I was hook.. I stenciled my Daughter's name on a pillow and the next day I stenciled one of my throw pillow with Mr. and Mrs. Perez.

It's Addicting!..lol

by the way I upholster my daughter's little sofa with Ikea Curtain it was my first time I ever upholster anything ..It's not professional ,but I'm happy with my outcome!..

Monogram bags

Today I attempted to make monogram bags it was a lot of work ,actually it was pretty hard ..I like how the bags came out but I don't love it ..I want to look at the bag and Love it !!..

First I made one for me with my Initials C V P it looks a bit Gothic, Not exactly what i was aiming for ,but like I said I like it I don't love it ..I will have to try again another day ..then I did one for my little Girl Sky ,it's lilac with her initail S in black ..I like hers more then i like mine, might do one in black for me ..here are the two bags I made with monogram.

I didn't do a photoshoot for theses bags because I had no more energy left to set it up ,Sorry I'll set it up next time ..:-)

I also try this style but it was a mess so Im going to work a bit harder on this style to perfect it ..

Another Bag

I made a New Design and added a button to keep the bag closed Yay!! And I also changed my lables.
Here it is.. Dark Brown bag with solid blue lining ..

 

Hair Accessories

One thing I always love doing since my little Girl was 3 months old was hair accessories ,at first I made her a bunch of bows and now that she has tons of hair I love creating hair clips and headbands..

working on my photoshoot for my bags today ..hoping it comes out great ..right now i have four design done ( i made five bags but I sold one yesterday before photographing it) I have four more bags that need to be completed..Well that's all for now got to go back to setting up my backdrop and lighting ,excited to see how it comes out ..

BAGS!!

Been sewing bags this whole week , I finish setting my Esty account and I'm excite to start selling my bags online..it all started with me making a bag for my daughter so she can carry her allergy medication, every time my daughter wore the bag she got lots of compliments,so then I made a different style for myself and a friend saw it and wanted to buy one from me ,I made her the bag and I haven't stop creating or sewing bags since..

Why SkyButterfly?

Why SkyButterfly? ..because to me those are the two most beautiful creation I know.
Sky is for skylar my beautiful and gifted daughter and butterfly is for ..well the butterfly , I love the beautiful colors ,thier beauitful wings everything about the butterfly amazes me..so there you go that's how i got the name..SkyButterfly!
